Meon Valley Recruitment Company Expands Operations
Shedfield-based technical recruitment business Baxter Hall has grown further in September by recruiting three new members of staff as demand for its services grows both locally and nationally.
In addition to recruiting experienced members of staff in its engineering and electronics recruitment functions, the company has been able to take advantage of the government’s apprenticeship scheme to recruit a local apprentice in its accounts department, and Directors Ed Wright and Matt Salmon are keen to continue their policy of offering opportunities to local young people to build a career in a growing business.
Baxter Hall Director Matt Salmon said “our continued success is entirely down to the hard work of our excellent team, and we have a great atmosphere in the office. We look for people who are flexible, proactive and want to deliver a top quality recruitment service to both clients and candidates. With further growth planned over the coming year, we are able to offer excellent opportunities to people who want to develop in a fast-paced, dynamic business.
Recent recruit Nic Smith from Wickham, who applied to join the company thanks to a previous piece in the Meon Valley News said “I have moved into recruitment after several years working in the corporate sector, and Baxter Hall is a very positive business to be involved in. I have been made to feel very welcome by the team here, and the training and support has been first-class.”
The company has doubled in size in the last year, and now has a turnover of £4million, with a client portfolio including some household names in the automotive, aerospace, energy and IT sectors.
Baxter Hall is always searching for the next member of its growing teams which are focussed on the engineering, IT and electronics markets in the UK.
